A recreation of the recently rediscovered, radical conceptual poetic (and aesthetic) 1969 show at the ICA: ’The Art & Language Show’. It has been almost completely unknown (even to the gallery itself) until now.
Following an almost magical chance rediscovery of something nearly entirely forgotten to historical collective consciousness, this exhibition is the occasion of a momentous historical moment?: a tendentially Greenbergian, 100% ‘pure’ recreation of it.
We are now able to go back in time to 1969 and experience the art of the past, for the first time, in the present - and think about the future.
